Vacuum cleaners vs. Death Metal/Grindcore

So my spouse has a theory about women and vacuum cleaners (how when using a vacuum they tend to bump into furniture etc) being directly related to how a woman typically drives her car. Scary as it may sound, it's pretty right on for a good majority that I've witnessed.
I have a similar theory regarding Death Metal/Grindcore and guys. I like to call it "rar-rar" music, due to the special way most of the lyrics sound unless you pull out the liner notes or are a guy. It seems to me more guys than gals are able to comprehend the lyrics the first time around - makes me think it's a special genetic trait - kind of like how only dogs can hear certain frequencies.
Guys, being the target market, are genetically enhanced to understand words that sound "enraged" or "warrior-like", which makes me think it's because of testosterone and eons of evolution.
So, vacuum cleaner theory vs. "rar-rar" music theory. Sounds like a new topic of discussion for a party environment....

Very interesting.
Weird theory
I like it though, it explains alot.
In general, you're probably right about the metal, but I've known plenty of girls who can understand it and are into it as well. The more you listen to it, the more you can make out the lyrics, I promise.
I think it's all about the cowbell.......
@ deadman - yeah it does doesn't it?
@ River Lethe - didn't say gals weren't into it (I am) just thought they didn't have that extra instant translation gene that guys seem to have!
@ RD - you KNOW it's about the cowbell!
