with the late lamented Hortense Ellis, sister of the recently deceased Alton Ellis. Her forte was in the field that later became known as "lovers' rock", as she concentrated more on the romantic side of life, cutting tunes like "Secretly" for Coxsone Dodd and "Unexpected Places" for Gussie Clarke.
Here she is, from 1974 or so, backed by the Soul Syndicate, produced by Joe Gibbs, covering Ann Peebles' best known tune

Sorry, thought the arrangement and tempo was wrong, although Hortense has a great voice. This version does not compare to Ann Peeble's original.
