Not perhaps the most representative cut of his to pick, this Gene Chandler cover was recorded for Duke Reid in the mid-sixties, using a fairly straight r'n'b backing. This is taken from a white label Jamaican "pre", with no label info, although the tune is now fairly easily obtainable on compilations

Yeah, pretty straight forward. Lighter & more supple than the original though.
