Funky Friday with the O'Jays

Largely forgotten now, they were HUGE in the early Seventies. This is off of their 1975 LP "Survival" - the backing band are MFSB (Ronnie Baker on bassism and Earl Young on the drummings), and it's written by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, from which you might just be able to guess that this was a Philadelphia sound

    Someday Baudolino I will tell you the story of Survival, The US Army, and your's truly.  Suffice it to say for now that this reignites some memories, godd times & bad.  I love it.  I hope you'll post the Title track.
