in approximately 165 different hip-hop and rap tracks of varying quality, this Gamble/Huff/Jackson Philly classic from 1974 appears not to have been posted before. The O'Jays seem to have failed the audition at Orwell's Ministry of Truth. they made some wonderful records in the mid-seventies, but have long since dropped off the radar.
This is still fantabulosa tuneage

You know what.i think THIS is the track that the "NewsNight" producers are using ...the echoey vocal part... "Defunkt" turned it into a sped-up muso work-out & squeezed the "soul" out of it...very eighties.
