as often as those of many other artists of comparable renown, probably because of the sheer importance of the vocals and guitar to the whole experience. Mind you, I reckon Stanley "Buckwheat" Dural makes a more than decent effort here.

I don't know, seems to me there's quite a few Stones covers out there. Wouldn't have really thought of this one for a Zydeco cover. However, yes agree Buckwheat gives "a more than decent effort here." Thanks.
This may sound wild, but doesn't his voice on this remind one of Jerry Swamp Dog Williams? Arrangement doesn't sound all that Zydeco, but agreed it is a "more than decent" cover.
