A Gregory Isaacs rarity now

Posted over 3 years ago

this 45 came out around 1978 on the Hawk-Eye label, based in North London, produced by T.Douglas and Gregory Isaacs . The dub side is credited to the Leggo All Stars. Other than that, I know nothing about this disc.

It's not the same mix as the one on "Cool Ruler"/"Slum Dub" as far as I know.

EDIT: A little extra hunting reveals that Trevor Douglas appears to be one of the founders of Cash & Carry records, the label that put out quite a few Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs and Black Uhuru cuts in the seventies

Thanks for posting this! Great track.

Wondering what you used to transfer the 45?

    Thanks!
