(1924-77) was a fifties electric bluesman from North Carolina, often recording with his partner Little Ann (Anna Lee Sanford) who has largely been forgotten these days.To be honest, he was never in the top drawer of singers or guitarists, but when he got it right he was capable of making some blisteringly raw music. Here's one of his best ever tunes
