Moving back in time

Posted almost 3 years ago

from Deadmandeadman's post here - http://mog.com/deadmandeadman/blog/1280182 brings us to the very wonderful Louvin Brothers, whose tunes were introduced to mainstream rock audiences by Gram Parsons, who covered them in the Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers and on his own two albums, since when they have been covered by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Emmylou herself, and numerous others.

Here then are Charles and the tormented and self-destructive Ira, back in the 1950s, on a theme they returned to many a time; they really did not like Satan one bit
