  1. Bartleby says Because it's Sunday, here's her take on a Stevie Wonder's hit [Rhianna - I Love Everything About You / 4:51] For the purists, here's also the unfiltered version of "Word Love" [Rhianna - Word Love / 3:54]

  2. Yor, the Hunter from the Future says If I may be so bold... Excellent tunes.

  3. satisfiedmind2 says I have never heard the UK version of Rhianna before...very cool, confusing, but cool

  4. amber says It must be a testament to what I think of you and your posts that I opened this at all...I thought "Ri-hanna...WTF? He's into hip-pop?" I, too, was confused by the spelling. But I'm glad I did. I should know you wouldn't lead me astray. ;)

  5. Bartleby says Apologies to Yor whose comments I deleted by mistake: -- Fortunately I had a printscreen: Note: I had to delete my bonus tracks as they were mis-coded (everything was bolded) -- Here there are again Because it's Sunday, here's her take on a Stevie Wonder's hit [Rhianna - I Love Everything About You / 4:51] For the purists, here's also the unfiltered version of "Word Love" [Rhianna - Word Love / 3:54]

  6. Bartleby says *Yor*: Many thanks for popping in. If you're bold, it was entirely my fault. Once again, I sincerely apologise. I clicked on the wrong comments. *satisfiedmind2*: Confusing indeed. I think it's not the first time mistaken identities happen for me in music. For instance the first time I heard the James Taylor Quartet I thought it was James Taylor who set up a new band to explore jazz-funk. *Amber*: Thank you so much for your kind consideration, Amber. Truth be told, I don't think many people will follow the link to this post. -- I kind of did it to provoke people :p (PS: I'm into all kind of music as long as it's got soul and integrity, aren't you?) To all, here's a question: Have ever had mistaken an artist for another because of their similar names? -- I've already quotes James Taylor vs James Taylor Quartet. Any other suggestions?

  7. satisfiedmind2 says What I have done before(and this is a sad thing to admit) is to put off listening to a band JUST because of the name. I remember seeing Death Cab For Cutie t-shirts and thinking they were some bad metal band.

  8. Bartleby says LOL... I thought the same thing about DCFC even though I'm not adverse to metal. Some band names sound so crappy these days also. Mogger Alex P Morrisson wrote up some glib stuff about it and I contributed with "bears" in bands: - Grizzly Bear - The Bear Quartet - Minus The Bear - Panda Bear - Seabear - Tebbybears Stockholm - Golden Bear - Bear In Heaven For a while I couldn't sure I was talking about Panda Bear or Grizzly Bear

  9. amber says Michael: I am open to most music with soul and and heart, yes. And I don't really care much for Rihanna that I've heard (had to be really careful with the spelling there-heh) And the DCfC reference is hilarious to me since I live in the Seattle area AND one of my daughter's soccer teammate's mothers wouldn't let her kid come to our house for a birthday party because I listen to "devil music"...seems I wore a Death Cab t-shirt to a game. I get all the ??Black?? named bands confused: Black Angels Black Kids Black Lips Black Kites Black Keys Black Sabbath ok, maybe not that last one so much... ;)
