[Baby Charles - I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor / 4:27]

In a time not so far away, two aspiring disciples of Funk-Fu started on a mission to bring ThaFunk to the MOG-world.

Stepping out from the vaults of the Mothership, they used their mixing fists and borrowed others' bombastic booties to bring as many as possible to form One Nation Under A Groove.

Today, the legend of Funk-Fu continues as this grasshopper here wants to take you on the dancefloor. Just follow the ladies.

    Bartleby says More seriously, Baby Charles is a super hot and groovy combo from Brighton. You can stream their début album on their website: www.babycharles.co.uk -- I recommend checking out "Wasting Time" (I had an invite for their launch party last Friday but couldn't make however if you're in Nanterre outside Paris, make sure to catch them live tonight at "Le Festival des Chorus des Hauts-de-Seine")

    Hermes says The "Baby Charles" of "Baby Charles" was album of the week at Tunes some weeks ago, and I wouldn't be so broke, I would have bought it immediately. One of the comments was: 2008 is the year of Deep Funk. I hope they are right. Very cool, that this music is produced again with its full force.
