You are all aware, no doubt, that last Tuesday the French celebrated le Quatorze Juillet or Bastille Day as the Anglo-Saxon philistines call it. To commemorate the 220th anniversary of the destruction of the royal gaol of Bastille, I'd like to share with you some French sounds.
I can't see any better way to kick off our 14 juillet music than with Les Rita Mitsouko and their zany French pop. The Les Rita Mitsouko are Fred Chichin and Catherine Ringer who mingle Latin music with Parisian chanson and synth pop to make a unique aand quirky brand modern music.
Here's a glimpse at the zesty humour of Les Rita Mitsouko with their anthemic hit "Marcia Baila"

Here's their collaboration with French photographer and designer Jean-Baptiste Mondino

To all my Trustees: Thank you for the warm thoughts. Sorry I couldn't keep up with all your wonderful posts. I've got very limited access to the I-web
nice to see you on here, still! can't listen to the tunes right now, but wanted to let you know the post was read and appreciated, either way.
Glad you're still at it, Bartleby. I really enjoyed those two videos above with her intensity and their great imagery.
Le sigh... tu es trop cool, mon ami
