    deadmandeadman says I'm tryin' to get a handle on this. The production is, on first encounter, distracting. On second approach, searching for the reason, I'm still scratching my head. >out of respect for your sensibilities I'm goin' at it a third time. I'm not sure I like the way the harmony vocal's reverb seems to absord some of the delicacy of the track. But that's just me, I guess.

I hope I'll find something in his production that'll suit your sensitivities. *Lilja*: Hey Lilja. "Princes & Princesses" is indeed the film where they turn into animals when they kiss. For those who don't this incredibly poetic animation film made of several fairy tales (all in cut-out figures and shadow puppets), here's a little excerpt *Ivy*: Glad, you approve of it. *RGM*: Well, he choose as his pseudonym Syd Matters for a reason.     bloodtea says I really like _Princes and Princesses_, it's definitely one beautiful animation (the fact that it's spoken in French makes the whole thing even more romantic). And I must say Syd Matters' song perfectly fits that scene.

    xhable says Never fear, x is here. :P Princes & Princesse was very poetic you are right. Thanks for posting that, enjoyed watching it :). Just about most of it was at my level of childish french also :) The song is lovely :) Why did you call it a palindrome? do you dream the same way forwards as backwards?

    Anna says Soul-touching male vocals in your song there. And tremendously beautiful animation in that video, Michael. Though I'll have to disagree with my sistah Andrea, and say that the fact that it's in French {I don't speak the language} makes me feel like I'm missing half of its beauty and meaning.

But here's a brief and very loose translation for the Princess of MOG: The whole idea is a twist on "kiss a toad and it'll become a prince:" - Prince: I love you, Princess. You are the fairest lady in the world - Princesee: You are the most beautiful thing I have seen. No one can you more beautiful. - Prince: Yes, there is. - Princess: Who is this person? - Prince: You can with a single kiss. - Princess: I do not want to kiss you. we are not even engaged yet. - Prince: Be generous, one kiss is all I ask for. They kiss he turns into a toad. - Prince: Look at what you have done. I am a toad now. You have to kiss me again and undo what you have done. - Princess: Puh, I will not kiss a toad. Hideous. - Prince: All right... And so on so forth, with every transformation they are more and more reluctant to kiss each other until the end...
