Beirut: Nantes (live in the streets of Paris)

Posted over 4 years ago
I don't know how those blokes of La Blogothèque do it. It's always an amazement to see renowned artists "busking" in the streets of Paris.

  5. Grievous Angel says somehow, i don't think "this":http://mog.com/music/Beirut/biography is the correct beirut bio...;) thanks for posting this, i wasn't familiar with either beirut or La Blogothèque, now i've got to check them both out.

  7. Bartleby says dimitra: I wish I were in Beirut too... ;) Thanks for popping around these shores of MOG leftoverking: After my post on the events in Myanmar as GA would say, I didn't want to post anything. Then I stumbled across this footage with the dust bins, I thought it'd a nice way to be frivolous without being offensive. I agree with you, not particularly keen on his latest instalment. Girlcrawl: Thanks for your kind comments and brilliant posts. La Blogothèque is admirable lads indeed. To think that everything is pretty much self-financed with very little advertisement revenues... Soulrocket: Do you really need a plane when you're a rocket??? GA: I think you'll find La Blogothèque's worth a click. Also, re your comment (along with LoK's) on Beirut's bio: Well, maybe MOG mistook Zach Condon for a cedar tree.

  9. lilja88 says i love the garbage can percussion! and the accordion...so french. judging by this as well as the kooks video that you posted for me, paris is very good at inspiring musicians to bust out random public street performances. i must spend more time in paris.
