I haven't been too enthusiastic about new music for, oh, the last 30 years. But being the eternal optimist, there is always hope

MOJO - Tom Petty's new release (how long has it been?) is well worth the wait. Recorded live, no overdubs, no autotune. Just a tight, experienced band working off each other. Doesn't get any better than this.

Shades of Dylan, Duane Allman, Jimmy Page (yes!). Lots 'o blues, authentic lyrics, vintage Petty.

The more I listen, the more I like. Will be slotting in for the upcoming road trip.

Now if I could only figure out how to work the MOG thingy to share some of the music with y'all.
