   blackrebel says Ah The Housemartins... When Hull 4 - London 0 came out, with Happy Hour as the single, it was a mind-fuck LOL Top innovative band.... dare I say... very British? And then they moved on... Hugh (drummer) ended up attacking someone with an axe (!), Paul set up The Beautiful South and Norman... ell Norman is Fat Boy Slim Who'd a thunk it?

   ccranford says The Housemartins are definitely one of the all-time great bands. I'll never forget the excitement of first hearing "London 0 Hull 4". Of course, I never got to see them live, but I trecked out into the middle of England one summer to catch "The Beautiful South" perform, walking several miles back to my hotel in the rain. It was worth it.
