   B42 says Mog is being a bit more than stubborn this morning in posting comments. I've seen Dr John several times over the years and have never been disappointed, New Orleans has always been a Mecca for Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco and although I love the music I only have been there once briefly. I hope they don't build it up into something it is not, once again reformation of art in a sense, too much is at risk of being lost.

   poebegone says tough choice, whether to simply accept when art was naturally destroyed or restore it at the risk of forcing a version of what it once was. reformation of art is tricky business, but we can count on evolution to be the wild card. with everyone from Louis Armstrong to Louis Prima on its side, New Orleans has deeply rooted musical traditions that i hope will figure naturally in whatever the all-encompassing THEY have got planned. PS, must've tried to post this comment 3x, hope it only gets published once!
