  2. dermahrk says Very interesting video. I've heard that song a hundred times, never really heard the lyrics until her version. I do miss the background vocals of the Pips a bit, though. So, is this album all covers? I recognize maybe half of the track names. I've liked everything I've ever heard from Joan, yet never bought any of her releases. Maybe I should rethink that. Thanks.

B42 says Yes, this album like her previous album is mostly covers, she's a singer more than she is a songwriter, I'm a bit biased because her tastes tend toward mine ie; Grateful Dead, Cracker, and R&B, and I love the qualities of her voice, give her more of a listen and let me know what you think.
