Jeff, (deadmandeadman) put up a post earlier featuring a Bowie cover by Danny Michel, and after listening I wanted more. I took a trip over to Michel's webpage found this great vid and was immediately taken, hook,line and sinker.
What is it about these Canadian singer songwriters that get me every time on a first listen? Thanks Jeff, itunes gets another 10 clams from me ;)
Described as "Tom Waits" meets Cheap Trick or "Paul Simon meets Depeche Mode", (maybe with some G. Love thrown in for added flavoring?), he's opened for everyone from Frank Black and Daniel Lanois to Johnathan Richman. (more)
The vid is Feather, Fur and Fin, the title track for Danny Michel's latest release. He says it took over 3500 still photos to make this video... plus there are sharks and crocodiles in it!!!

I see where Britney has fallen to number 12 on Mog's Top Artists this Month list and the Grateful Dead is back up there in the number 2 slot, good going kids, I was getting worried there for awhile.
