mpg and wattage

I'm pretty timid when it comes to car stereos but I made a bit of a plunge today when I went out and replaced the stereo in my Mom's '91 Honda Civic. When she passed away several months ago I decided to keep the car as a runabout, it's a cream puff with only about 60k on it, regularly maintained and easy on the gas, something like 35 mpg, letting me leave the gas guzzling GMC van in the driveway when I'm not using it for work and S's Camry isn't available. So I picked up a relatively inexpensive Pioneer ipod ready unit, spent a couple of hours on the install, (could have been less if I didn't try to over-complicate it), time that could have gone into the barn shingling but you know, everybody's got their priorities, mine might be a bit confused at times but music does come first, last and always, that's a no-brainer. My questions for y'all are a) "Does the choice in car stereo affect gas mileage?" b) Does louder clearer music make you want to drive faster and possibly more recklessly? c) What's your wattage and mpg?

a-b: the stereo, and loudness/cleaness thereof, affect the desire to drive more, so, while mpg is not neccessarily affected, the volume of dino blood increases proportionately.
c: wattage of factory unit unknown, but that high-volume rattle on the back deck has got to go! 35 mpg highway/25 city...your results may vary.
Sorry about the 'fusion Pimpy, it's just so damn efficient, (and fun) to crossover posts. Some read it here others read it there.
Scot, dino blood, love it, the primordial ooze just pumps through my veins when the music's right and the road is unencumbered.
