House Cleaning Music ?

Looking for inspiration to get into a housecleaning mode and tear myself away from the mog for a bit, any suggestions?This is what I've come up with so far - Railroad Earth "Elko"Band site- linkwill probably just plug in to a show from these guys here - Internet Archives

  3. SatisfiedMind614 says I broke down and finally cleaned last weekend...for whatever reason, I found both Mermaid Avenue albums(Wilco and Billy Bragg doing Woody Guthrie songs) made the whole process pretty painless! Good luck!

  8. gympumpkin says I usually clean well when listening to poppy, catchy songs. Stuff like old Madonna, Duran Duran, "Just Can't Get Enough" by Depeche Mode, etc.

MilesTrane says i gotta do this today as well . . . been postponing it and my wife's coming back from a long trip away . . time to de-bachelorize the joint. . i'm gonna crank upo anything with tempo . . . upbeat classic blue/guitar rock like robben ford, stevie ray, philip sayce others . . makin the playlist now... adding to that: "let's clean up the ghetto" by the philadelphia international all stars and to end with "the scene is clean" clifford brown and max roach :)

  12. bobglaza says glad to hear you found honest work B :) - I had instructions to "can you please cut this tray of oatmeal bars into 48 pieces?" Damn, a math problem from jump street! Panic struck! Ended up defaulting to Dylan, John Lee Hooker, and Warren Zevon...a tragedy narrowly averted - whew! Got 'em cut and now its on to the laundry - woo-hoooo!

His shows are always topical & witty - you already know this - not to mention the great music!
