Even in a city that doesn't play by the rules, New Orleans' Bonerama is something different. They can evoke vintage funk, classic rock and free improvisation in the same set; maybe even the same song. The Fratellis Boston show at the Paradise was fantastically fun. They have an amazing energy in their albums and on stage. The Paradise is an incredibly intimate venue, I felt really lucky to see them there - I know that they sell out much larger venues in the UK.
