Patrick Wolf is working on his next album which is due out this coming Spring 2009. Apparently it is a double album. The video below was originally posted on Pitchfork's site. It is a behind the scenes interview with Patrick talking about the new album. And also he has fallen in love and talks about his relationship being the impetus for half of the new album. Check it out:

No, but that clip I posted the link to says all that anyway. Thanks though niece.
This is a bit wacky, yes? no?
Just a bit....
What is wacky? The song or the vid? Or Patrick himself? I'd say he himself definitely is w/that hair & his fashion sense for sure. But his album 'The Magic Position' is quite wonderful & like nothing else out there really.
Wacky the song...I didn't leave your page...just listened to the song. His voice was wacky, the lyrics. Not quirky or strange, but wacky...it's different.
I guess I'm just used to his voice. But yea it is unusual I'd say. I'll post this album on the dark side for ya to hear.
a double album? i'll be waiting. i hope his being in love doesn't mush it up unpleasantly. and mostly i am here to look at that photo. mesmerizing in a Japanese sort of wacky way. :}
In the interview vid in the link I posted Patrick talks about how one side is all dark & stark while the other side is lovey dovey, so if the love below gets too much for you then you can switch to the darkness. Apparently it was all going to be dark but then he had to go fall in love damn him!
And yes, Patrick is a fascinating fellow to watch. His fashion sense is um, unusual to say the least. . . .
