Cantinero Release "Better For The Metaphor"

Posted almost 4 years ago
wCheck out the new Cantinero album finally released last week, 4/9/08 on iTunes(I can't seem to figure out how to link to it)and "*amazon.com*":http://www.amazon.com/Better-For-The-Metaphor/dp/B0011TVFWQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1208385795&sr=8-2.I wrote a review/post about the album "*here*":http://mog.com/Augusts1/blog_post/115678#comments last October & how it found me via Christopher Hicken the creative force behind the group.Chris is the greatest guy and amazingly talented. ". . .Metaphor" is his second album and it really deserves your attention. I love his voice, it's just so beautiful and soaring. Chris has sent me several of his newer songs since asking me for a more objective viewpoint of them as well, which has been fun to be in on his new music!Check him out further on his website at www.cantinero.com or his myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/cantineromusic.

  6. Augusts1 says Oh, so you see them & they play for you Annie? I guess it's just me. It's been happening on other posts of other people I've been on too. Yea, I saw that you had commented on the original post. Most definitely must go on your list. Cantinero is great, glad you like it. And actually it was Chris who prompted this post, since he emailed me to ask if I'd review the album & post that it's been released. So you can thank him for the reminder!

  17. Augusts1 says *Betherz* yes, Chris was in several bands prior to this. You can check out the "*Wiki*":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantinero on him for more info. *Michael* glad you enjoyed & found something of note. Yvw for the catch up. Btw, Chris is a British ex-pat! *Helen* ahahahaha nice thumb! Was wondering where that went to! 'Goodby Life' is one of my faves on this album but since I had featured it on my Oct. post I didn't lead with it.
