Here's also a vid of Erykah doing the song 'The Healer' live with her new band The Cannabinoids at SXSW this year:

Still no news on the horizon of when 'New Amerykah, Part Two: Return Of The Ankh' will be released. It's been delayed TOO LONG. Come on Erykah, I'm waiting(as well as tons of other folks too)!

Well Kev,at $1,000-3,000 a pop that would be a no go! And those hookers on the street don't count as far as opinions go since I pay them, so they better say I'm nice @;P. The rumors aren't true, I'm the meanest mofo I know, but come to Coachella next year anyway tripbro.

Supreme, I happen to be a member of Erykah's online marketing team, so that's one of the places I get my info. okayplayer.com is another and other moggers too. How ya doing? Good to see you.

I love the painting, love the graffitti feel to it. Reminds me of one of my favourite local artists, Joshua Petker's work.

And you are the meanest mogger I've ever met...for sure :-P Even the hookers say so!

His work does have a graffiti feel to it, now that you mention it. I'll have to look up Joshua on the intarweb.

'And you are the meanest mogger I've ever met . . . ' my reputation is getting around. Maybe soon I'll have no friends, 'cept them damn hookers!(And they just want my money @;P) xoxoxoxo

Those damn hookers are hard to shake, they follow you everywhere, spread rumors and take all your money - but they have the best stories.:P

    I think you'd like Joshua's work.

Hookers are the worst but their stories are great!

I just checked out his website http://www.joshuapetker.com/paintings.php His work is interesting but it's way too girl-centric. I'd like it more if he varied his subjects away from young girls. Thanks for the headsup on him though.

*Sam* I have no idea how long it took him to do that. I'd like to know too.

*Kev* see, I told you! Whoever you got your info. from was misinformed. @;P

Oh wow..I saw this poster on her website but I did not realize there was an actually painting.

I wonder the size of the canvas and what type of paint was used.

Reason why I am curious is that I went to the Affordable Art Fair here in NYC and there were paintings that were not in oil but in another method. See here:

    Thanks for sharing.
