I've been meaning to review the new Soulsavers album Broken for about a week now but the task keeps slipping my attention like a greased up eel. It's a vast, atmospheric mix of delta-blues and electronica with a bleak melancholic shroud permeated with occasional bursts of uplifting bright light. It's definitely on my heavy rotation list at the moment and I just spotted a deathly brooding remix of Death Bells by Mogwai which has somehow managed to brighten my day.
