This lady is one of many of those stuck in the hell hole that is the Detroit ghetto. Our generation was supposed to protect them from this. We have failed them. Damn. I don't want this to happen to my Mom too!

....Ouch indeed. A brief but powerful post. This could spark a long angry discussion of personnal responsibilty, civic reponsibilities, & the corrosive culture of inflated ego & instant gratification.

I lived on the Detroit West Side in the 70's and these things were happening on a daily basis..then.I know from personal expierance. Which is why I moved.I felt hopeless. The community leaders and those who are supposed to protect you would not help. I was a teen when the riots happened. I wonder if this is going to happen again.I admit it is probably is worse now that many homes are vacant. When I visited my family last summer there was not a street in Detroit and suburbs that didn't have a foreclosed home on it. I pray for the safety of my family and friends all the time.
and still we focus on spending our money to help other countries when it is ours that needs the most help

I have a great love for any in these problems or conditions and hope they somehow will be taken care of.
I am on the list to be foreclosed ,and sent my 3rd letter to Whitehouse today.
They have all list's on problems and they have spent money to whom how much etc........
I have confidence in Oboma to do the best they can with is Cabinet, I do not think anyone could do better, ( This is my OPINION only).
