Want to know what being on LSD looks like but you don't want to try the actual thing? It's alright, watch this little piece of manufactured paranoia as the next best thing.
Bodybuilders get into a fight with transexuals and two gangstas blow blue powder on them and they all start to bounce. I think this is the first time I've found myself speechless in the last 5 years.
What's there to say? Stuart Price's mix of the song is bloody amazing, video is gorgeous, and the 2 Live Crew references will give you something to munch on. 100 thumbs up.
I tried to beat the devil too many times, I'm in love and she is tragic, magic. No other song matters right now.

That Foals vid is just bonkers. No idea what it is about, what it is supposed to be, or what they want to accomplish with it. Oh well, maybe it is just going over my head. I did run into them yesterday though, or at least the singer. Didn't went to their gig, went to see Xiu Xiu have total breakdown and shock treatment. Drama there was.
I think it's going over everybody's heads, I got nothing to say and I'm a chatterbox.
How much of a shock treatment are we talking about? Foals' Miami?

We're talking about literal shock treatment, as in, he wasn't happy with the sound, tried to fiddle with his amp or whatever, and got a shock so bad he first kicked a plastic water bottle into the audience and then ran off stage, coming back to apologize and to say he nearly passed out. Imagine his delight when his string broke the song after.
Jeff, don't do anything! Keep on showing the Kylie video to people. You'll be able to start a naked cult by the end of the day!

The New Porno's vid is a direct homage to the musical 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg' by Jacques Demy(if you've not seen it, I highly recommend it):
There are overhead shots of people w/umbrellas in the opening credits of the film.

OK, between the Neon Indian (which I really need to catch up to ASAP), Foals (loved the pixie dust, I knew gangbangers were hiding something), and Miike Snow (THE BEARDS!!!), this has been a very enjoyable bumper crop of tracks. I feel educated, enlightened, and inspired. Cheers! :)

I've seen Umbrellas, not my taste, I'm afraid; my eyes shut down after too many pastel colours ahahha (bf is a big fan though; of the movie, not pastels).
