Halloween Essentials

Posted over 2 years ago

¬ Start your day by having a good breakfast...

{pictures source}

¬... and by spinning Dead Man's Bones; a debut album both spooky and class.

In The Room Where You Sleep:

Lose Your Soul:

¬ Avoid mannequins at all costs.

¬ Use psychological and physical violence on people dressed up as Lady Gaga. Don't worry, you won't get in trouble; they know they have it coming.

¬ No matter what people tell you, remember that

¬ Enjoy the creeptastic new Fever Ray video for Stranger Than Kindness and their Halloween mixtape (not that it's better than Dale's!):

¬ Buy me this couch:

PLEASE?

{pictures source}

¬ Listen to The Cramps. Remember.

¬ And have a TERRIFYING one!

PS Mwuhahahahahhah!

    OK, that Dead Man's Bones is indeed class! And thanks for pimping my now-two-week-old mix. Although I now REALLY wish I had included some Cramps ... RIP Lux.

    The couch is kinda disturbing. Yeah, quite a lot, actually.

    Aw, now my day is complete. Yum. From the mistress of darkness herself, these must be good.

    And I feel the same-- fancying DMB ...quite a bit.

    Happy Halloween, darkling. (;

    Amber, thank you for the spookiness, darkling! (I'm expecting my Halloween pictorial treats btw... NO PRESSURE)

    Dale, my pleasure! Your mix is perfect; no one can doubt the King of Halloween :*

    Neill, AWESOME! And now that I remembered:

    Uncling, glad you like them! Maybe we should buy each other that couch. Or we can buy one and you can move here and we'll share a coffin (now there's a weird sentence).

    Stefan, I don't know what you mean. I think it would look fantastic in my living room. Must.... have.... the.... couch!

    Rex, glad you think so. It's a band of two actors that has horror, supernatural, etc as a theme; I was afraid that it would be gimmicky, but I was pleasantly surprised!

    True dat, luckigrrrl; thank for bringing it! xxx

    Poe, awww thank you! I'm bowing down to your darkness and the indisputable horror that picture provokes! I'm glad you like DMB as well (how could we Not like them, really!).

    Have a spooky Halloween!

    Neill... yummy yummy yummy... you'd make a great Happy Tree Friend character, methinks. Think about it; they'd pay you to say things like ''Halloween? Christmas for paedophiles.'' mwuahhahahahha!

    post mortem for me as well...just too much sugar for one day..."In the Room Where You Sleep" is enchantingly spooky, yet left me feeling this may be a one-month-a-year act, but the glorious child-chorus of "Lose Your Soul" dashed that notion to bits. Very, very well crafted and tasty...thanks Anna!!
    Unfortunately, no one came by as Lady Gaga, so I had a lot of bottled up aggression issues....If no one has sprung for the couch yet, I hear they have coffins at Walmart now...you could do a little DIY project...

    Andrea, it's always Halloween in my heart {hahahahha} so you're never late! :)

    You're welcome, Scot! I was afraid this project would be too gimmicky, but I was really glad to find out it isn't so!

    I can't... I'm too scared after this link Cinful gave me http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/

    I could make my own, I guess. Now there's a hobby! Florence has a song called My Boy Builds Coffins, I can do a spin on that :)
