Did Somebody Say ''Disco Delights''?

Posted 26 days ago

I may have been waiting for an excuse to post these songs for 3 years now. NO MORE!

Roll over in glitter, dust off your moves, and enjoy this shamelessly (there's no other way)

All I want...

... is to be a dancing queen....

...and a man after midnight!

I'm feeling incredibly happy and hyper right now!

/resumes dancing

PS Kevin, you are pre-emeptively banned from this post.

I don't think of Abba as disco..I know it was played in discos, but it kinda came out of the club and into the shiny light of pop day. Knowing me,Knowing You was my jam though..

Cody, that's interesting! I think of them as disco pop, with emphasis on disco. Not only because of the location but also because of many parts of the music and also the moves that accompany it (OK, and the outfits). That might be because I enjoy their disco side more :)

    Glad you embrace your ABBAness!

Charles, yes, the erm, European one ;)

Seriously, you have to be pretty black-hearted to not dig some ABBA. Good times.

Anna, are you trying to entice DeadmanDeadman with your new look? Darlin', have a sandwich!

I played all of the ABBA vids, as I am underexposed to ABBA. I don't consider this Disco either, just good pop music.

Kevin, I banned you from this post. BANNED you! I do know that you like them deep down inside, you just have to make your peace with that fact.

Dale, ay, both pop and disco, I'd say... now where was I... oh yes..... I WAS SO AFRAID, FERNANDOOOOOOOOOO!

    Go, Cody, Go Cody!
    (Kevin.... NANANANA)

cpeterson, I think the world would be a better place if everybody danced to Abba. Come on, do your part. We'll spin the movie Pay It Forward into Dance It Forward! :)

UNCLE! Not you, too! That Kevin bloke is a bad influence on you. That's it, no more playdays for you two!

Stefan, most of the new disco I've heard puts me off a bit because more so that often it just recycles vintage disco without adding anything to it... I'll always keep an ear open though :)

Cinful, have I ever told you how amazing you are? You are, you are!

Aiea, I'd go anywhere with her. Thanks for that gorgeous tune!

Mark, you outed me! And so my effort for subtle flirting goes down the drain...

I determine genres a bit differently. If I can do my disco moves to it, it's disco. What can I say, I'm a simpleton and I like it :)

Jonh, as much as I love 'em, that was just painful... hopefully some natural catastrophe will prevent them from unleashing the sequel on the world...

Maybe Kevin and I can have an indie, steel cage smackdown..I will wear my glittery tights and represent disco and kevin can wear his skinny jeans with knee holes, and we can go at it..pay per view,of course!

OK, Kevin, you are unbanned, as long as I get to be in the VIP seats section of that fight Cody just described.... (that's just AWESOME).

Jonh, unfortunately so! Please don't say ''Pierce Brosnan'' to me in that context ever again! Such a painful memory. So not 007!

Andrea, true dat! Although sometimes I get enjoyment out of shame, so I just fake shame to enjoy it more (wait wait wait that sounded very wrong).

Dance music is dance music.  Of course I cannot really dance, but its more like a squiddle.  I love to squiddle!

I never really put any music in any genre; as music is universal, but that is me.

I rarely put anything on, as most of the Moggers already beat me to it, although I did like Goldfrapp to squiddle to.

Anna, if you go alphabetically, then Bee Gee's are up. LOL
