WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Hitler's Reaction to the Oasis Split

Posted 3 months ago

My second post in a row related to Germans, not sure what's going on there, but the Brilliance just keeps on coming.

Maybe you've seen this, maybe not. If you haven't, watch it, and if you already have, watch it again. This is so hysterical, that it's almost worth the split.

I know how you feel, Adolf, I never got the chance to see them live either... if this is how the war started, I don't think I can blame you anymore.

With major props to Neill for sending me the link to this.

Is there a web site that let's you use this scene to have Hitler get ill over whatever your issue is? "cause I got another vid with the same scene and a different topic..If there isn't such a site there should be..Nice one, A.

Hmm, not to my knowledge. Reckon we should make one? I have to say that I haven't seen the movie the clip is from, but I don't think I ever will; no way it can top this.

Thank you and do show us your Adolf when you can! (ahahahha)

    Very Funny!

I want to know whether this is truly a permanent  split or if the Gallagher bros. will be back at it in another few months/years.  They still have another 15-20 years left  to make music - together will likely be better than apart.  Odds there's a reunion  in 5 years?

They'd better get back together! Me and Adolf are very upset!

I'm willing to bet 5 quid on a reunion happening. Any takers?

I saw one they did for Bruce Springsteen, but this one is hilarious. I feel his pain.

Yeah, I saw this scene used and Hitler was ranting about the Playstation or Xbox or something like that.  I wonder how many there are.

Jonh, and I bet Ticketmaster is not going to give him a refund.... Ticketmaster is way more evil than Adolf....

    Thank you!

Rex, ay! Not to mention, 'have you tried Kasabian?' ahahhahah

Charles, you don't want to know how many of them I've watched so far.....  this is a black hole for free time, and I'm glad I'm not being sucked by it alone. Not sure it's a favour, but here it is, a time-sucking Adolf parallel universe. :)

I never thought I'd emphasize with the Fuhrer ... poor sap. Maybe he'll get hooked on Kasabian after all.

Um, I stand united w/Groon(hey come back here man!). I couldn't care less, in fact I'd swear they split years ago emotionally. So much for the better!

BUT this vid is quite funny! 'I lost my virginity listening to Oasis. . . I had my first LSD trip to 'Be Here Now'. That was a good night.' AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dale, there are plenty of Kasabian songs which if Adolf (loving the first name basis btw) sang out loud, it would be so WRONG ahahahhahah

Groony and Uncle A, yeah yeah, you keep writing such comments when I'm asleep.... wraaaaaath!

Sam, even though I don't like to admit it, I think I saw them all yesterday, and I think the Oasis one is my favourite. Although it could be the charm of the first one and all that :)

Reyan, I'm glad that I could destroy some of your free time :)

WHOOP WHOOP! Another one for the anti-Oasis team! Thx Jaggerandrea for the solidarity.

Oh Anna, I'm just so scared at your wraaaaaaath(as if)! To be honest, I do like some of their music & own one of their tapes but they are just so overrated. I do acknowledge their songwriting skill too. But I'm on the Blur side of life, personally & have all their albums.

It sort of figures that Adolph was an Oasis fan. (heh)

The first of these parodies that I saw was about Michael Jackson's death. Friggin' hilarious. And I really should point out that the scene is from a very fine film entitled "Downfall." It's about Hitler's last days in his bunker - and that's the great German actor Bruno Ganz in the role of the madman himself. (You may have previously seen Ganz as an angel brought to earth by his love for a trapeze artist in the gorgeous and incredibly romantic movie "Wings of Desire.")

I'm gonna getcha I'm gonna getcha!

Mikey, I should have guessed there'd be one for Jackson's death. Love Herr Ganz and Wings of Desire (sigh). Although there's no way I can see Downfall now. They ruined it for me! But it was worth it... maybe :)

I knew this day would come.  I've got my emergency kit all ready over here.

I really don't know what to say anymore.  All of my favorite bands are breaking up and getting back together.  It's the new trendy thing for bands.

Wait till you see what I'll do to you, Uncle A. The Orange scene will be rated G in comparison. mwuahhahahah!

Dana, I know! Well, as long as they get back together sometime before they're 50, I can live with it. I can't even begin to imagine how much more cranky they'll be after 50. They'll put Statler and Waldorf to shame.
