As soon as I saw the title post and the one writing I knew this must be it. :P I love it, I have read a bit of a backlash on it though. I guess I'm just a sucker for a bit of darkness in songs. I'm in love with that bit where he moans "It's a hard lesson, let me leaaaaarrrrnnn." Admittedly not for the faint-hearted. I think art especially is the perfect place for dark thoughts to come out, it helps to channel it, me thinks.

I'm with you there. Not for the faint-eared, either. Luckily, we've been sharpening our ears in proper dark ways so that we are able to appreciate it. The hard lessons are the ones we never forget.

Overall I think I'm liking the song. The only problem I think I have is with the bridge where it sounds a bit too dark (?) or something for me. But other than that he's sounding great and it's an interesting direction for him to take. I wonder if the album will be a mix of all his styles or purely electro? I can't remember if The Bachelor was supposed to be the "happy" or "sad" album.

Vulture is definately growing on me. And the bridge - "hard" - now puts a smirk on my face after I read someone describing the song as camp. Now I'm hearing some campness in places. Vulture is definately very catchy.
