Excuse the fan in me, but this band has never disappointed me in over 10 years now. Never. In over 10 years. It's crazy if you think about it. It's no wonder they have my eternal dedication and love. It has nothing to do with changing directions and all that jazz. They don't need to because they are still painfully good at being what they are. And it may not be your cup of coffee, but there's no denying there's real soul there.
This is yet another song that immediately got tattooed on my heart. It slowly builds up tension, breaks lose, goes back again and kicks you in the sin. I feel like I'm on drugs. Dream brother, my killer, my lover.

I thought I felt my heart skip a beat. Now it all makes so much more sense. This song fits in nicely with the rest of their oeuvre. I like it oh so much.

I should give this a listen as I might be seeing them. Going to my first ever festival this year - at the age of 23 - and they're playing but not sure which day yet! Admittedly not familiar with many of their songs except Nancy Girl and Morning Glory. I do have a random memory of them playing Nancy Boy on Top of the Pops when I was 10. I remember being amazed that Brian was playing the guitar so fast and singing at the same time lol.
