This is for the one that fancies New Wave Wednesdays, but won't actively experience this one. I picked the official video and not a live one, 'cause combined with the song it's humorous, sarcastic and bitter at the same time; I'm sure he'll get the sentiment properly.

    emit says Hmmm, I never really liked "Ultra" (or anything after "Violator", which must be very typical). But this track is full of rage, deception and anger. I like it. Still, I think "Policy of Truth" was better. Ha! ;-)

    Dale says Sweet redemption is what I see in this video. I remember how happy I was to see Dave Gahan off the smack, alive (thank goodness), and singing better than ever. And to pile on poor emit, Ultra, Exciter, and Playing The Angel all offer worthy treats to the faithful DM-phile. Along with the video herein, you also get: Barrel of a Gun Home Useless Dream On Freelove I Feel Loved Aw heck, the entire album Playing The Angel holds up with their eighties albums.

After I saw your comment, I started looking for the CD to upload it for ya and I realized that I only have it in cassette format! Tres primitive :) Dale, seriously, I almost lost my mind with this song back in the day: So dirty and haunted and tortured, music - lyrics - voice wise. I'm drooling. Charles (did I ever tell you how much I love your name BTW?), hahahah.
