We should not forget how music has progressed and the emotion that can be transmited through music. Gill-scott is a perfect example of a true musician both cultraly and musicly, his millitancy and his desire to express a message through the medium of music should not be forgotten and should be kept ever close through a period of music loosing its cultral heritage (im speaking from someone exposed to the english radio and media.Lets revive soul in all its forms and keep the music were it should be, with the people

His fusion of mellow Jazz & FolkSoul music, his discerning eye & ear for the rhythms & colors of 'the hood' resulted in some incredible sounds in the '70's.
