Rocket from the Crypt All Systems Go Vol. 3 Vagrant Records

Nine years since Volume 2 was released and roughly half a decade since John Reis flagship group came to a grinding halt, it appears there might be a little more tiger in the tank. The most notable difference of this latest set of b-sides are the tame song titles. Volume 2 included some classics, "Rape by Ape", "Burning Army Men", "Crack Party", etc. The roughest song title accompanies dance move themed "Dick On a Dog". Otherwise Rocket From the Crypt's brand of Retro Post Garage HardCore "brings it" for fifty minutes. With only a few mistakes each song aka "lost master" fits nicely into their discography. "Total Bummer" might be one of their best songs and surprises me that it hadn't surfaced earlier. "Don't Wanna be Touched" slows things down, proving they can rock on the slow stuff.
