One evening of sophomore year at college, I had my dorm room to myself as my best friend and roommate Colin was in the library studying. Instead of working on more insipid pre-calculus homework, I took a well-deserved break and turned on Colin's television, as I didn't have one of my own at the time. As I surfed the channels, I stumbled upon MTVu and watched the most amazing music video I had ever seen by any artist. This music video was by an Icelandic band called Sigur Ros, and it was for their song called "Glosoli". The song itself is what I consider a musical masterpiece. The music video takes it to a whole new level, using evocative imagery and a sweeping, simple story to create a memorable and nothing short of brilliant 6-minute artistic creation.
