Band reunions stir up all kinds of emotions. On the one hand, especially if you're a youngun, you want to see a band that you never got to see in their heyday. In reality, it's more sad than sexy to see a chubbier, thinner-haired version of the band, who has to catch their breath with between-song banters that sound more like Dad trying to be hip. "Zolar X":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=zolarx managed to retain their cool since they first formed in the early 70s. It might have to do with space travel not making you age, like Einstein theorized, or it just might be how Plutonian elves roll. Either way, "Zolar X":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=zolarx came back to grace us with an album of all new material--new material that doesn't suck, that is. We're surprised, and quite impressed, that these songs on "X Marks the Spot":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/product.php?product=1434 are on par with their older material collected on their anthology "Timeless":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/product.php?product=804. And believe you us, we at Alternative Tentacles can't be any more skeptical of band reunions with all we've been through.Below is the video for the the song "Retro Rockets" as well as the spoken intro "Oveon Triopp." For more videos of "Zolar X":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=zolarx, check out the "official Zolar X MySpace":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=zolarx.ZOLAR X Oveon Triopp-Retro Rockets Music Video
