The Last Friday

"Criminally underrated" is such an overused phrase in the douchebag rock critic's limited bag of tricks. But when it comes to "Fleshies":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=fleshies, we feel it necessary to resort to that tired phrase or some facsimile thereof. They criss-crossed North America numerous times and even jetted to Europe on a few tours, but the world at large is still oblivious to one of the best, and most original, punk bands in recent years. And now, we hear that "Fleshies":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/bandinfo.php?band=fleshies will be on a hiatus while members work on other projects.We could blame the ignorant and the unconverted for putting a kibosh on Fleshies' rightful bid for world domination, but instead, we'll just post a song here. Take heed now and hope that this "hiatus" is really just a hiatus. "The Last Friday" from "The Sicilian":http://www.alternativetentacles.com/product.php?product=544 (2003) always turns into a fist-pumping sing-along at shows--we all chant the line "You're a dick" with such relish as we exorcise ourselves of the shitty workdays, crappy roommates, etc.And regarding these "other projects" they're working on...
