   Alien8n says During the 80's Hanoi Rocks were THE glam rock band. Influencing Guns and Roses and very close friends with Motley Crue. It was the death of their drummer Razzle in a car being driven by Vince Neil that caused the band to split in 1985. It was one of the members of Hanoi Rocks who a few years later was nearly responsible for the death of Nikki Sixx due to a drugs overdose. You could argue that the death of Razzle split the band up before they could self destruct. Never reaching quite the success of Motley Crue they nonetheless knew how to party like Motley Crue.
