I wonder...

Do you tend to judge someone on their music tastes?I never really thought of the answer to this question, until someone told me that they cannot have friends who listen to bands that sound like all they are doing is screaming into the mic. or playing with a synth, so thus I wonder.

  2. ennuikiller says only if every time you are with them they force you to listen to their music.....that could be a deal breaker, you know? Happened once to me.......and it was over a band I liked....it was just the idea that this person would only listen to stuff he enjoyed and I thought well fuck that: as it turned out he was equally as stubborn in all areas of he life......

  3. ConQueso says Um...depends...i'm not going to stop being friends with someone just because they listen to My Chemical Romance...but i'm not going to ask them to recommend a movie to me...or a book. Am i going to form some small...probably horribly generalized...opinions about someone? Yeah...sure. But it won't stop me from hanging out with them...where there isn't any music.

  5. mutterimieli says Nada doing. I have a friend who is such a sweetheart, caring, kind, and a HUGE Juggalo. A Juggalo is an Insane Clown Posse fan, and I mean big fan. Everyone has a right to their own opinions, mine just happens to be a distaste for ICP, but I judge him not on that, but on who he is on the inside. And if was judged on what was in my collection, I'd have no friends! LOL

  6. lemontwist says Nope nope nope. You never learn new things if you never branch out, and a good friendship is totally worth having to put up with a few minutes of "crappy" music every now and again.
