English rap is just better

English rap, especially grime, is just plain better than American rap. Not just english rap, but pretty much rap from every other country. Sure it originated here, but it's moved in a questionable direction. When you compare the current rap artists of England and America their music is better in almost every respect. You could compare it to Cuban rap, but the language difference makes it hard. American rap is filled with meaningless lyrics mostly put there just to rhyme. E40's raps are filled with random words like "listerine strip". The choruses to most American rap songs are a single phrase repeated over and over again, often it's repeated through the entire song. American rappers really need to do some deep thinking and come up with something better.
