Here Comes Everything

This is the universe in a nutshell. Or at least Ireland in a nutshell.More than HPSCHD or any of the Europera performances, this is a recording that succeeds in evoking what John Cage was trying to demonstrate on an aesthetic level...something about the variety of sounds in the world and their occasional poignant characteristics transcending traditional musical sensibilities. Unlike other sound collage-type pieces, Roaratorio has a very delicate range of Irish faire atmospherics filled with short instrumental strains and Cage's voice which is well trained on Joycean lilt.
