N.E.R.D. has been in the studio working on a follow up to their 2004 album Fly Or Die. Pharrell Williams spoke with NME and filled them in on the progress of the new disc, "We're almost done with the album -- we're like one song away," said Williams. "We plan to release it next March or April." The only description he gave of the new material was "it goes back to what we do" and "It also has a lot to do with pretty girls."
Maybe the album Pharrell has with Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West (child rebel soldiers) will come later in 2008 as a result of this. Kanye will probably be finished with his committments to Graduation by then.

I thought they were done after they left Virgin. Used to be a bit of a fan, though I think my fandom has faded. Still, interested to hear what they come up with! I was a bit miffed when they left Virgin cause I was wanting them to release Breakout! I totally loved She Wants To Move when it came out and I was really happy when I found out Rockstar was being used in SSX3 lol. I hope it doesn't sound anything like Pharrell's solo album, cause that didn't do much for me - though by that time I wasn't much of a fan anyway. But still, I thought he could have done so much better - instead he sounded like any other Hip-Hop artist out there (IMO)
