Etta James Hospitalized In Los Angeles

The manager of legendary blues singer Etta James has revealed that she is in stable condition after complications arose during abdominal surgery. Lupe De Leon told reuters that James hopes to be well enough by the end of the summer to join B.B. King and Al Green on their blues tour. Until James returns, Chaka Khan will be filling in with her services.
"If it had been left solely up to her, she would have checked herself out of the hospital and started the tour regardless of her delicate health," De Leon said. "However, her doctor advised that were she to do so, it would put her at very great risk."
During her 50-year career, James has scored a string of hits that include At Last,Trust In Me and Sunday Kind of Love.
