The Tony Yayo court proceedings resumed today after "being adjourned for three months":http://mog.com/MrFrost/blog_post/67687. Prosecutors offered Yayo a 9 month sentence if he plead guilty, which he rejected of course. In March Yayo, born Marvin Bernard, was charged with assault harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child. The incident allegedly had Bernard slapping the son of Jimmy Rosemond, who happens to manage rival rapper The Game.

"The prosecution's nine-month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected," said Yayo's lawyer, Scott Leemon. "It's not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely."
The misdemeanor report says after Yayo struck the boy it "caused (his) face to strike the door of a building" at Sixth Avenue and 25th Street and causing him "to have a headache, an earache and caused substantial pain to (his) face."
The case is adjourned until Sept. 6th.
