Michael Franti & Spearhead are celebrating the success of their 2006 album Yell Fire! with the digital only release of Yell Fire! Live this fall. Yell Fire! was critically acclaimed, praised for its educational, socially conscious lyrics, yet still keeping the music fun, entertaining and Fresh. Franti also released a documentary about the Iraq war in 2005 titled "I’m Not Alone". Franti & Spearhead are set to work with producer Matt Wallace for the follow up album.
Franti & Spearhead are heading out in the late summer and early fall for a string of gigs. These tour dates will coincide with the release of Yell Fire! Live in October, and lead into the follow up in early 2008.
