Fergie Denies Candies Product Placement Deal

Just a few days ago many media outlets "reported pop singer Fergie signing a $4 million dollar product placement deal with Candies":http://mog.com/Afficionado/blog_post/91788. Thankfully, it's turned out to be a false report (assuming everyones telling the truth). Therefore there is no new age advertising deal, we'll have to stick with the old Fergie who sings about her lovely little lumps.
"There is absolutely no truth in the media reports that Fergie has agreed to product placement in her songs," says a spokesperson for the singer. "She does have a commercial deal with the clothing brand Candie's, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with the creation of her music."
Candies has also denied tapping Fergie to promote their brand in her songs. "Contrary to recent false reports in the media, the Company does not have any arrangement with Fergie whereby she will incorporate the Candie's brand into her lyrics."
