In the July issue of Self fitness magazine, Black Eyed Peas leading lady Fergie spoke about her old substance abuses problem, which led to conversations with inanimate objects.

The ex-crystal methamphetamine addict spoke about being paranoid and scared of an imaginary person hiding in her laundry basket, "I remember thinking somebody was inside of it, going to come and get me, so I was talking to the person who was crawling in the hamper." At the height of her crisis, Fergie admits spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on meth, and only eating every few days.
Fergie shares her dark days in hopes that others in similar situations know that they can make it out, "Even when you feel like you're at your worst because I went to that place, I went to hell and back ,you can pick yourself up. You just have to make the right choices. Everything is a choice."
