Also on the heels of the humping incident, Akon has released an apology song called "Put the Blame on Me". Akon also apologized to tour partner Gwen Stefani, who was affected due to Verizon pulling out as a sponsor for their tour.
"I realize that everything I do is affecting the people around me," he further elaborates. "So I want to take this time out to apologize for things that I've done; things that haven't occurred yet; things they don't want to take responsibility for."
